Kristian Borofka, D.O.

Dr. Borofka is a board certified family practice physician. She was born and raised in Clovis, California, 3 hours south of Sacramento and went to medical school at Touro University California after she completed a BS in Biochemistry at Santa Clara University.
Her love and interest in medicine began long before her higher education; she was diagnosed with Celiac’s disease (an autoimmune disorder related to a common food product-gluten) at the age of 16. This inspired her life-long interest in the interplay between lifestyle changes and physical and emotional health. While in medical school and residency, her passions grew and now encompass LGBTQ+, geriatric medicine and women’s health.
Her favorite part of medical practice is establishing relationships with patients, families, and helping individuals better understand and manage their own health. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, knitting, exercising, swimming, and cooking.
