Easy, quick, and inexpensive.
I often find myself trying to recall and suggest to patients different go-to-recipes I use in my kitchen. So to make things easier, I made a list of 5 of my favorite recipes.
By no means are these “award-winning” recipes you will find on “Iron Chef” or “Chopped,” but they are convenient. Convenience is the name of the game. After a long-day I’m much more likely to head to the quicker and easier recipe. (and cheaper, as you can see in these recipes they are all relatively inexpensive).
I formulated these meals off the top of my head and based on my preferences, please feel free to add more ingredients or different ratios of each ingredient. But, while remaining on the format of a low-carb and high-protein meal. As you can see I often skip the starch completely, it is very easy to replace with delicious substitutes such as zoodles (zucchini noodles) or cauliflower rice!
If you have any recipe suggestions, tips, or modifications please let me know! I am always looking for new flavors and ideas.
