Cabbage Stir-Fry
Enjoy winter vegetables to keep your body feeling healthy all year long! Save time by using precut coleslaw mix featuring cabbage, carrots, and green onion to get the most flavor and nutrients!
Instructions
  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a medium sized pot, meanwhile rinse and soak brown rice for 5 minutes then add to boiling water, lower temperature to medium and cover with lid, cook for about 20 minutes
  2. Heat skillet to medium- high, add 1 Tbsp olive oil, chopped garlic, and 1lb ground meat
  3. Season meat with ground ginger and cayenne pepper and cook until browned (about 8-10 minutes)
  4. Add coleslaw mix, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar to skillet and stir until softened (about 5 minutes)
  5. Turn off heat and serve with ½ cup cooked brown rice
  6. Top with green onion and enjoy!
